OFFICIALLY IN THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON!
I woke up today, on 2/11/24, with an unfamiliar sense of peace. I have worked hard to cultivate a steadfastness in my personal peace for years; however, the stillness that has come over me since we have passed through Lunar New Year’s Gates is brand new.
As you might’ve heard, as many are speaking on, the year of the dragon deviates in a number of ways from our other Chinese zodiac totems. The dragon is the sole mythic in their ranks; the dragon is the only unseen. Pig, dog, tiger — these are not fictions of our imaginations. The energy of the dragon comes once every twelve years, gracing us with its gradient-shattering magnitude.
It comes to remind us that we are in the world, not of it. It comes to remind us of the histories that are long forgotten from the earthly kingdoms, their narratives are woven into our DNA and our scars, the earthly body and her caverns, and the subterranean pockets of life that are stirring in our midsts, beginning to creak and groan like an old boat’s hull, heaving against an oceanic pressure.
Dragons bend elemental energies into being: they make known the alchemical merging that lifts our third dimensional reality into the higher realms. Where magic lives, we find synergy of our known forces, coming together to imagine new combinations. Before our eyes, these solutions resolve as miracles. Many will be shocked. How do we make sense of a world that defies everything we have known to come before it. But for the people whose energy can rise to meet this influx, an abundant time of empowerment emerges to co-create with the mystery. YOU will be able to funnel through the density that occludes the full and true reception of new light codes, the earthly turmoils at this time in history. YOU will transmute the rubble that is begging to be broken, without even trying.
This is the year, the first since 2012, that we are greeted once more with a force that can lift us from the mundane. To once again make what was once impossible, possible. The dragon archetype asks us to see us, ourselves, as IMAGINAL. Not only do we weep in saltwater but we bleed in blood. We rage with force. We forgive with a healing drip that penetrates to the core.
We generate emotions that are skimmed from the top and used to fuel a codependent system designed for global efficiency: convenience. We are a collective image of the creative force that drew us upon its board.
When dragon energies come to play, we know that we are being taken higher. The 11 signs to pass (2013-2023) have drawn us through our earthly kingdom, walking us once more through the hellish animal impulses of primitivism as humans evolve. We see now, 12 years later, that our IMAGE is crafted with the cumulative quality of our suffering, of our love. We are the co-creative existences that define a worldly atmosphere.
Instead of receiving our scripts, we are now emboldened to ENACT them. We have the opportunity to choose an embodiment that transcends the limitations of the past. We know now that any dogmatically driven paradigm is its own last breath. We know now that the ineffable truth of our existence is only witnessed, not found; only sung upon, not pronounced in full. To give melody to the dance of life is to be a mirror of our own fullness: the dark and the light.
The dragons wage war on all forces that strive to resist change and magic, their power: uncontested in our collective consciousness. Through the deep connection they provide to the mystical, we begin to move gracefully across the bridge their energy builds. We ride this wave of uplevelment, becoming simultaneously a new student and old master IN UNISON, weaving what once was with what will NOW BECOME.
The dragon energies ask you to take your visions for the future and see them as DONE. To ride their currency into a manifested world where your highest timeline is their whim, THEIR TRUTH, too; because you are tethered to the collective healing of planet earth and all it entails. Your web, as woven in strength and truth, is a supplemental force guiding all other beings to strengthen too, their wefts and will.
My spirit dragons have been coming to me each day since the Super New Moon in Aquarius. They are showing themselves to me in ways I’ve never seen before.
They are showing me that they ARE ME. A higher extension of my own personal energy in this life, tethering my wildest dreams into the physical as each thought form I offer to them, they offer back, bathed in an impenetrable glaze: iridescent, chameleonic, untouchable. They are blessing every move I make, and I feel the solidity of their commitment. The dragons do not tolerate fear. They have never needed to fear. By extension, they have wiped my fear clean. I am protected in their channel.
From the depths of their mysteries, where they’ve lain slumbering, awaiting a time for the humans of earth to again receive their power; to the rifts in the continuum, where they now shred past the haze and offer their light, it has never been more true that
